American Football or “Football” as many Canadian and Americans refer to is a very well known sport played by two different teams on a rectangular shaped field with two yellow field goal post and end zones on each side. The offense takes the football and tries to score a touch down which is 6 points by using running and passing plays to score touchdowns and or field goals which are worth 3 points. In the United States, 2 teams of 11 players play football on each team. Canadian football teams have 12 players on each team.
There is college football and NFL which are the two most well known out of all of the leagues. Football is unbelievably big in America with people buying items and other stuff that has their favorite team name or logo on it. The NFL makes …show more content…
Although they make a lot of money they have been in some lawsuits the most recent to my knowledge is the concussion incident with players having concussions and developing diseases in the brain. In the NFL and college there are a lot of teams to choose which is your favorite. Also Football has a really unique history.
