Harriet Tubman and Fredrick Douglas both give their share of support for slaves but their stories are different. They have have proved their independence and freedom throughout history. They pushed people to do what they think they can't. They have very different ways of both facing obstacles.

He was sold to a family while he was growing the wife thought him how to read and write but this was illegal for a slave to learn because he could have a thought of freedom.
