Do you know anything about hip hop or ballet? Well I'm going to tell you a little bit about both. Honestly both dance genres can be hard, but you shouldn't put yourself down for not being able to do something. You must keep on trying until you get it right, and you shouldn't stop when you get it right, you should keep trying until you can't get it wrong.

Ballet is all about technique and it requires a lot of skill and it takes years to get good at ballet. It's also very formal and elegant as well, and on-stage ballet dancer's performances are flawless. You also need to have emotion in ballet and you're telling a story with your dance and people can clearly see what the story is about. I feel like even just watching ballet can calm you down because it's so peaceful and watching all the footwork they do is incredible. Ballet is very consistent, and every move is very specific, with an assigned name French. Ballet moves flow tightly, with the feet pointed and the muscles pulled inwards. Also, ballet is characteristic of a classical feel and can either be slow or fast.

As well as the clothing and costumes, you can pretty much wear whatever you want and they're usually very bright and colorful and they always pop. Hip hop doesn't only have to be in a studio, in fact tons of hip hop dancer are always on the streets doing super cool and fun dances. Also, you don’t have to worry that much about hip hop because everyone's not expecting you to do amazing and there's way less pressure on you. In ballet, it’s way different because you have a lot of pressure on you because everyone expects you to do amazing and not mess up.
