The two materials show a clear contrast. In the video we found a group of professionals that, despite the different paths they chose in their lives, they all recognize how important are Humanities on them. Even the scientists that were interviewed recognized that Humanities provide them the "why" of their research. Woodrow Tatlock was the opposite. He was a man too down to Earth and focused merely on what is easily visible. Every time Mr. Tatlock had a chance to enjoy the pleasure of nice architecture or a piece of art, he found a reason to do not enjoy it; but it was not because he did not like a certain artistic manifestation, it was much more sad: like he told his wife, he had no other thoughts. Woodrow could not see what was beyond his eyes. Besides his contributions in anatomy and painting, with the extremely well-known Gioconda, Leonardo left several inventions such as the parachute, helicopter and tank. More recently, we had to individuals that changed the way society works. They are Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. After their garage projects turned real, the way we communicate, shop, pay and study was never the same. Another perfect example of the contribution of creativity to our society are found in the Ancient Greece. With almost zero technological development, and based mainly on their observations and logical assumptions, many Greeks like Archimedes, Democritus and Thales formulated theories and came to conclusions.
