A revolution can stem from many things and can sometimes be peaceful, yet more so than not, it tends to be very bloody, often sparking a significant change in its attempt to right what has been wronged. This would be a period which would crack the unity of Christendom with humanists such as
Leonardo Bruni and later Martin Luther and Niccolo Machiavelli who would speak of the abuses coming from both the Church. Their works would also be misinterpreted and, in turn, would influence war which was the case concerning Luther and the Peasants Revolt. The humanists would be a step forward in the culmination of the humanistic arts, religion and the political systems in which we still see today. Who was to blame for this crisis of authority during the Renaissance? Both the Church and the Empire
Finn VII believed they ruled over one another according to scripture. It was inevitably the Roman Church who would have to reform due to both its decadence and greed. It was also during this time that many individuals ,such as Luther, would begin to form what are known as Protestant religions. Today, countries still have secular rulers or a form of government who rely on laws and justice, yet there are many religions in which people can choose from depending upon how they see faith and dignity within themselves. They are free to choose how to live within the law and those who do choose to
