When Britain decided to get more land, they want to North America. In North America they landed at two different areas Massachusetts Bay and Virginia. These were the major ports that the British landed and were the first two colonies. Both of these colonies had a strong economy through trade and emigration. They also both had a strong government because they were the two major colonies in America, and there needed to be a sense of control in these colonies. Finally both Colonies started out small but grew due to them being colonies right next to the port. Overall both Massachusetts Bay and Virginia have the qualities to both be extremely successful but Massachusetts Bay will be more productive in the future because of the fact that it has a better economic, …show more content…
According to the article Bacon’s Manifesto which is by Bacon it is stated that money was not dispersed fairly, and that most of the people that had wealth were corrupt. This shows that there really is no sense of an economic system that spreads out the wealth. In this system all the money goes to people who never had anything before and only cared towards himself. This article also seems to suggest that the money is going towards politicians, this leads to the idea that they may be corrupt and beating the way that the system is being ran. According to the article A Model of Christian Charity by John Winthrop some men must be rich and some poor. While some people are meant to be poor that does not mean that an economic system should not support them, or that all the money goes to people in office. While people in office do deserve some money the people in office should not take the money that they want away from people who need it.
