One difference in the movie compared to the play was the time period. When reading the play it was in the 1400’s (15th century). Then, while watching the movie, I noticed the different time periods. It was more modern like 1996 (20th century). In the movie they had pools, automobiles, guns, and the men were wearing jeans. The viewers might react different as to how they visioned it while reading the play. I think the author made these changes in the movie so viewers could relate to the movie more. The changes affected the way I saw the play and the movie in my head; it almost felt as I read a play and watch a completely different movie compared to play. There was a scene in the movie that I thought was different then the scene in the play.
