Night by Elie Wiesel is a personal story of the author’s experience of concentration camps during the Holocaust. The book shows how Elie, himself, faces difficult problems and struggles to survive World War II. Elie shows hints of his faith in his religion vanishing slowly and he remains questioning God throughout the book. Elie also faces dehumanization which affects him physically, mentally, and emotionally. Elie’s relationship with his father grows stronger while they are looking out for each other. We get to observe his relationship with his own father versus other prisoner relationships with their father.
