”When you lose your laugh you lose your footing” is a famouse quote from the novel ”one flew over the cuckoo's nest” but also a great description of the film which was made 1975, based on the novel. The film is a comedy drama which takes place during the 60's. It is about a man called McMurphy, who ends up at a mental institution because he wants to avoid work in prison. There he stands witness to unjustify treatment of the mental ill and tries to rebellion against the rules and the big nurse, mrs Ratched.

The characters are well described, and the actors does an amazing job. Jack Nicholsen's version of McMurphy is an unerring description, and the cold way Louise Flether plays nurse Ratched creates an odd and
