Sacco and Vanzetti
In what ways did American society let down Sacco and Vanzetti in terms of the legal system and public perception of their social status as immigrants? How did society, as a whole, deal with them and how were they seen by the general public here, and also around the world? How has the justice system improved since that time, or has it? Give examples.

On a Wednesday, both Sacco and Vanzetti, convicted of killing a security guard and also a payroll clerk during an armed robbery at a shoe company on April 15, 1920 were killed. They were electrocuted at the Charlestown State Prison on Aug. 23, 1927. During that time Sacco and Vanzetti were Italian and Italians were not considered white, and so they faced a lot of discrimination from other people. When the men were arrested, it was also a terrible time in America. They were arrested during a time when people were always alert for bandits.

But later, they were found guilty of the murders and were sentenced to the electric chair. People felt really sorry for them. People all over the world were mad at the court‘s decision. There were a lot of protests held to support the deaths of Sacco and Vanzetti. People all over the world deeply cared about them.
Justice system has also improved. The government has now a program where instead of the case like Sacco and Vanzetti, it has improved way more from the improvement of investigation, asking more questions from criminals and witnesses to get everything right so there are no lies, and also prosecution to.
Therefore there is not enough evidence to say that Sacco and Vanzetti were guilty. The government wanted to quickly get rid of Sacco and Vanzetti any way possible. Sacco and Vanzetti were victims of an unfair trial that was also filled with hatred because of their beliefs and
