The Salem Witch Trials and The Holocaust have so much in common. There was a lot of hysteria going on and a lot of people were killed. Most of the time there were innocent people killed. The people in these times had their own beliefs and was careless. The Salem Witch Trials were started by a group of young girls in 1692. (History of Salem, Author Miller). These girls accused innocent people of witchcraft because the person was either sick or possessed by the devil as claimed ( History of Salem, Author Miller). They felt as if the people that they had accused were trying to harm them or others, so they wanted to get rid of that person until the person confessed to witchcraft ( History of The Salem Witch Trials, History.com).
