Georgia has always been home to me. The city of Cumming is where I grew up, and I also spent a great deal of time in my mother’s hometown of Tallapoosa. One is a small southern town, and one is booming with business and people. They are only about two hours away from each other, but they are worlds apart. While Tallapoosa and Cumming are both in Georgia they differ in qualities like economy, people, and recreation.
Tallapoosa and Cumming have very different economies. Cumming is one of the richest cities in Georgia. It’s fast growing and offers many job opportunities. There are name brand stores around every corner. While Cumming has a Walmart every couple of miles; Tallapoosa only has one. Tallapoosa is poor and not nearly as established
