I believe that the portrayals of the founding fathers we have seen in John Adams 1776, and Hamilton show very contemplative men who are literally creating a nation. They are curt, very serious men who are focused at the task at hand because what laws they make while in power are those that will go on to shape the nation. This is the image of the Founding Fathers that has been instilled in every generation. I am sure people are not incorrect in making these sort of statements when it comes to the attitudes of the Founders.
