Martin Luther King Jr. and Thoreau are two innovative speakers who changed the way to think.? Two intelligent thinkers that opposed the system in which they existed, yet the managed to find ways to revolt in semi-peaceful ways.? Thoreau was against the government?s policy and as a revolt he stopped paying taxes.? MLK was against racism and to revolt he led marches.? However, there is a HUGE thing that largely separates the two.? I?d like to say it?s a MAGNETIC difference.? Thoreau, repelled and lived in the woods for a while to be away from the injustice while, MLK engaged with those who were racist to change it.? While both sought change the MAGNETISM of their engagements were different.?
Martin Luther King Jr both an innovative speaker and pastor who broke the boundaries of racism with his amazing speaking and leadership skills.? He changed the Civil Rights Movement for the better with his motivational speeches and taking part in the leadership role of peaceful marches.? The way both individuals used their individuality set them apart.? MLK used his individuality to help unite a nation in a time of racial separation and discrimination.? While Thoreau used his individuality to separate himself from society in search for a higher knowledge, and though it could be argued he achieves what is certain is that? MLK and Thoreau are both on two different ends of the same spectrum.?
