In the poem “To My Dear and Loving Husband” By Anne Bradstreet, and the play The Crucible are both similar in a couple of way. In The Crucible John will do anything for his wife Elizabeth , Also in the poem Anne will do anything for her husband. For example, Anne said “I prize the love more than whole mines of gold, Or all the riches that the East doth hold.” Anne is saying she will not trade her husband for anything money can't buy him from her or anything else. Second, John asking Elizabeth for forgiveness and she says “It is not for me to give, John, I am .” That shows they care a lot about one another. That's how the poem “To My Dear and Loving Husband” and The play The Crucible shows a few similarities of how they love their husband
