The Westing Game story is about heirs who try to figure out the murderer of Sam Westing. They all receive a set of clues to help them out. They further investigate people and places to figure it out. In the movie, a group of heirs also try to find the murderer. They don’t get pulled together more or have relationships from the partners in the movie. The storylines are somewhat different but in general, there are some similarities.
