1. The difference in societies and times are most certainly noticeable. From the language to the outfits, you can definitely tell they're from different times. Emma is a more proper and conservative kind of film, whereas Clueless has more open-minded topics like sex talk and even some derogatory kind of jokes.
2. It is safe to say that they reflect and represent what was socially acceptable to the era they depict. Males and females were more respectful of each other in the Emma movie whereas in Clueless being superficial, popular and mean was important.
