The American anti-slavery society, Frederick Douglass, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and The Liberator all came into effect, changing The Civil War Era for what was known as many years. Abolitionist societies such as the American anti-slavery society changed the time period, causing many chain reactions in the process of demolishing slavery. Frederick Douglass knew that if he stated his opinions to others, he would make people think that they had to help stop slavery. Harriet Beecher Stowe, and William Lloyd Garrison both had completely different books, but they both had the same ideas. If slavery has really stopped throughout the United States, than does it make it possible that “It is easier to to build strong children than to repair broken men”?
