I saw that both poets had a very distinctive relationship with nature. Dickinson sees nature as one unity whereas Whitman sees and writes about every little detail. I liked how the works of these two poets had so much contrast between them, which in turn reflected the poets. Emily Dickinson seemed to be at some place of her own, basking in the sunlight and hearing the ocean waves while Walt Whitman wandered around, exploring, experiencing; both on their own, in solitude, seeing and expressing nature and world in their own different ways.
