The play that I have studied is Romeo and Juliet. In this play, contrasting characters and emotions make most of the plot and huge conflicts. The two most obvious contrasting characters in this play are Friar Laurence and Tybalt. Men of high statuses with complete polar-opposite personalities and morals. From the beginning of the play, Tybalt was portrayed as an arrogant and aggressive man. Tybalt hates peace and anything to with it. ‘’What, drawn, and talk of peace? I hate the word as I hate hell.’’
