When comparing william Shakespeare's Hamlet to Disney's The Lion King there are many similarities. Hamlet is a story about revenge as well as death, The Lion king is about reclaiming his past, as well as taking his place as king, and the circle of life. When looking at polonius and zazu they are both loyal, protective, and nosey. One of the things that make zazu and polonius the same is that they are both the king's servant, and with that they are both extremely loyal to the king. You can see this when polonius says in hamlet "At such a time i'll loose my daughter to him/be you and I behind the arras then"(II.II.173-174). In English he's saying to laertes, don't do anything stupid and try to think before you act. You can really see that he cared about his son and he was worried about him when going off to France, as every father figure should. Zazu has that father figure responsibility as polonius does, you notice that when he is in the cage screaming "let me out let me out" when the lions reclaim pride rock. He wanted to help them no matter the consequences because he cares about them over himself. Both of them as a protective father figure should be, watching them and being nosey and
