Comparing Henley's Anthem 'And Invictus'

Equality, from Ayn Rand’s novella Anthem and the character in William Henley’s poem “Invictus” share many similarities. Both characters has undaunted soul. Henley ends his poem, “I am the master of my fate. I am the Captain of my soul” (15-16). The quote portrays his belief about himself. The quote “I am the master of my fate.” says that he is the one that controlled himself and the quotes “ I am the Captain of my soul.” say that he could tell himself what he wanted to do to succeed. Anthem ended by Equality and Liberty reached the unmentionable times, that there’s nobody can tell them what to do that they get their freedom.
