Similarly to you, I have also started to pay closer attention to not only how Huck reacts to events but what actually happens overall. The more Miss Lorusso mentions Huck being an unreliable narrator the more I over think. At first when i was reading the Duke’s soliloquy from Hamlet, I was reading it but not actually paying attention but then when he got to a certain part, I realized it was from Macbeth!! Then when Huck thought it was mesmerized by their “talent” I realized how unreliable he really was. I agree with you about the fact that basically every character we have come across in this book is so phony, however I find it admiralable in both Jim and Huck.
