My book is called 'Dust and Decay' by Jonathan Maberry. Dust and Decay is a horror story about a few people trying to survive in a zombie apocalypse. The setting in of book takes place in a small town called Mountainside which is located in New Jersey, the outside of the town is called Rot and Ruin. The characters in the book are ready to leave Mountainside and look for a plane they had seen month before when the mountainside is attacked by zombies.
Benny Imura, fifteen years old, is Tom Imura's half-brother and is a Closure Specialist, he has a pale and lean body, straight medium brown hair with red highlight and dark forest green eyes. Tom Imura is the older half-brother of Benny, he is a closure expert and saved his brother when his parents got infected. Nix riley, A redhead girl with green eyes and many freckles. Had apparently been a skinny and gangly kid up until the past winter, she is a bookworm and dreamed of being an author. Lou Chong, Benny's best friend and he is in love with Lilah the lost girl. Charlie Matthias, a bounty/zombie hunter and known as one of the best by the young residents of the Mountainside, Charlie is a six-foot, six-inch albino with one blue eye and one pink one that is milky and blind.
