When comparing and contrasting stories such as “The Millers” and “The Knights Tale” both have obvious similarities and differences; for instance what the story is about, the tone, and the way things take place. The miller’s tale is about an unusual love triangle between John, Nicholas, and Absolon with Alisoun is in the middle. Alisoun is already married to John, but still is having an affair with Nicholas; even though john is somewhat aware his wife is cheating he claims it’s not his business so he ignores it. While Absolon is unconditionally in love with Alisoun and buys her gifts and gives money to her she doesn’t pay much attention back to him. It all eventually leads up to Nicholas and Alisoun coming up with this grand
