NCAA men’s basketball and the NBA are both billion dollar businesses that influence the game of basketball around the world. The NBA is the professional basketball league in the United States. NCAA men’s basketball is all of the college basketball teams in the country. Both leagues have many key differences with just as many similarities. These main topics include their fan base, the intensity of games, and the rules of each league. Both the NCAA and the NBA have millions of dedicated basketball fans around the world. These leagues gain fan’s in very different ways though. The NCAA gains much of their fanbase from college alumni; naturally people favor the school that they attended. The NBA gains a large part of their fan base for individual players. For example, thousands of people weren't huge fans of basketball, but they loved Michael Jordan. Both leagues have team with more or less fans than other teams in the league.
