The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe takes place in two main locations. The story starts in England during World War II. The children are staying at a professor's house to escape the air raids near their home in London. They spend a few chapters of the book at and exploring around the Professor's house. Soon, the story shifts to Narnia, where nearly the rest of the story takes place. Narnia has different constructs of time then we do in the real world. No matter how much time you spend in Narnia, only a few seconds have passed in this world. But, they just wouldn’t believe such a story. They thought she just made it up. Edmund, who was the meanest of the group, teased Lucy the hardest. He even went into the wardrobe just to make fun of her. To his awe, Narnia did exist. Instead of running into someone nice, like Mr. Tumnus, He found a large sleigh driven by large reindeer. In the sleigh, he saw a powerful looking pale woman. She introduced herself as the queen of Narnia. She brought him into the sleigh and gave him candy as he told her he was human and had three other siblings. She sent him off promising candy if he brought the others back to her castle. When Edmund got back, he pretended that he hadn’t been to Narnia, continuing to tease Lucy about it. The next day, the Professor’s mean maid was giving a tour of the house to visitors as the kids were exploring. They hid in the wardrobe to avoid punishment. That is when all of the children went to Narnia together. Peter and Susan apologized to Lucy for doubting her and went to look around.
