The Timeless Argument Between Books and Movies The movie and the book, Inferno, are two very different works. Film has always been superior to books because why read something when you can see it in action. However, this is a very ignorant thought since it ignores the breathtakingly way a book can push you to want more. The way a book can hook you in, and force you to keep reading. The book is more satisfying than the movie since it is longer, goes more in depth and into more detail of the characters and the plot. The movie was enthralling but I felt like the movie was selling it short. I sense that there could have been more to the movie.
