Victor and the creature have many differences between them. Victor is very ambitious in the activities he does and knows what he wants, while the creature has been left alone with nowhere to go by the person who created it and is not given the right guidance. Shelly’s purpose of the contrast between the creature and the creator is to show the different upbringings and how those upbringings effect people, show Victor the difference between reality and imagination and to show the thinking process between Victor and the creature.
The creature and victor have two different upbringings; the creature was left alone by the creator and has no guidance on where it could go next and had to find everything by him self and teach him self while Victor was born in to a great caring family with everyone loving him. In Chapter 11 the creature explains to Victor his experiences and explains his life after Victor ran away from him. The creature went to a hut in which farmers lived and did many things nice for them such as get some fire wood because he knew that the people were tired in that area.
