Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein began her life marked by tragedy when her mother passed away after giving birth and leaving her in the care of her father, William Godwin. In her book Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein and the monster that he created have many similarities and differences between themselves. Victor created the monster to be just like himself although at the time, didn’t realize what all would come along with that. A major similarity between Victor and the monster is that they both possess anger brought about by society. Another parallel between Victor and the monster is that they both became recluse’s overtime. These traits that Victor and the monster possess show that they are very similar to each other. For example, Victor
