For individuals who enjoy rather intricate and mysterious events in their studies the supernatural genre has always been a fascinating pastime. It is also commonly noted that this genre brings about some of the best thrills you’ll ever get in your days of reading literary pieces of work. However, depending on which book you are attempting to delve into you might be met with different symbols, motifs, or themes. For example, three fairly well known pieces that hold varying patterns yet can be connected through an overlying theme within the supernatural genre would be that of works such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and that of the Phantom of The Opera. It’s very likely that most people already have the jist of the events that took place in Frankenstein, however a quick summary would be useful. Our main character this time around is none other Victor Frankenstein who is hell bent on discovering the secret of life. Victor’s determination to achieve this goal led him to several years of research before he was enlightened. Victor soon began his work as he miss and matched various body parts in order to create an unknown creature. Soon after the monster’s brought back to life it then vanishes. Victor then receives word that his younger brother had been murdered by an unknown individual. Victor knew that the culprit was none other than that of the monster. In order to ease his mind Victor takes a vacation to the mountains in which he is then approached by the monster who begs him to great a significant other for him. Victor does not accept at first but soon changes his mind and agrees to create another monstrosity. Sometime into his second creation Victor realizes the grave error that he has committed once again and destroys the second creation causing the monster to become enraged. In retaliation the monster seeks out and kills Victor's spouse. Victor then proceeds to hunt down the monster to the Arctic. Both of which parish in the cold barren
