Basketball and football are almost exact opposites. For example in basketball you have to dribble the ball where as in football you carry the ball. One thing both of these sports have in common is that both sports are extremely competitive and physical. In the fanbase of these sports a question that gets raised all the time is which sport is better? Football offerers bursts of strenuous activity whereas basketball only offers continuous strenuous activity. This is why football is the better sport Football is watched more among fans than basketball. According to espn.com the NFL averages about 67000 fans per game whereas the NBA only averages about 18000 fans per game. This supports the idea that football is better because a fan is 80% more likely to go enjoy a football game than a basketball game. Basketball is played in indoor stadiums that tend to be smaller than footballs huge outdoor stadiums.
