Flood myths around the world have many similarities and differences, from the characters in the stories and how they survived the flood to the effects of the flood afterwards. The flood narrative Bochica and the Flood ended up having more differences than similarities to the other three narratives.
Bochica is described in a similar way to Gilgamesh, “strong, fierce-looking, God-like” etc., and are seen as heroes, the actual flood narratives are quite different.
