In today’s world, a new problem arises almost every day of the year and deforestation/logging is a problem that we have been dealing with for decades. In 1971, Dr. Seuss wrote The Lorax, a children's book about the dangers and impact on Earth of logging and deforestation. Later in time, in 1989, the book was banned from a school district in California due to its negative view of the logging industries; however, this is a book that everyone should have access to in schools and libraries.
