The Warrior’s Heart is an autobiography about true compassion and courage. The author, Eric Greitens, wrote about his life experiences starting with his childhood in Missouri and ending with his return from the war in Iraq. After graduating from Duke University and earning a Rhodes scholarship to Oxford, Eric gave up a high-paying career to serve his country as a Navy Seal. His story shows how small things can take a great deal of courage and can have a huge effect. I changed as a result of reading this book because I now believe that my actions, even as an eleven year old, can make a big difference in the lives of others.
