Reading Response The article “Confronting Inequality” by Paul Krugman, explains that income inequality does not matter due social inequality having a higher impact. Throughout the article Krugman explains how times have changed; the America Krugman grew up in was middle-class dominated and now the working and middle-class are becoming less relevant while the wealthy population grows. Therefore, Krugman writes an article that only talks about how income inequality is less than social inequality. Krugman’s argument has weak support for his claim of income inequalities.
