It’s not easy to make the redistricting process. Throughout the game I faced many challenges because I focused only on one concept. It is important to apply each concept to this process in order to get approval for your plan.
On mission one I focused mostly on the Population Equality because it’s one of the key tasks in Congressional redistricting. The purpose of population equality is to make sure that each district in the state has exactly the same number of people in it. In this case, each district representative has to have 640,000 to 650,000 people. After all the struggle, I accomplished to make each district to have about the same number of people, be in one piece (Contiguity), as well as applying the concept of census. Then I submitted
