Parents do not consider a child’s feelings when it comes to constantly moving and having to make new friends. As a child I often moved throughout elementary school so much that I’ve been to about six different schools. Making friends was easier for me than it is for others although that was only throughout elementary school but having been to four different high schools it was not as easy as that. I had to overcome the hurdle of clicks which being certain groups that you would have to fit into that form during adolescence. Although it was difficult to keep changing schools and making new friends and also having to constantly fit and over and over again I still managed to overcome this challenge.

I gained experience of making friends throughout elementary school but it was like a whole different thing in high school. During middle school I was able to take a break from moving but only staying in one school but soon did I know that the difficulties would begin again. After middle school I began at my first high school just like any student would so it was pretty natural then. The next year I transferred to a different high school in a different area having to start all over all over again. That is when I start understand that this was going to be difficult.

I have made friends throughout my classes but I never took it upon myself to hang out with them. So I spent my whole second year of high school alone. The following year I was at the same school at the beginning and I started off doing the same thing but then I took it upon myself and push through the crowds and found a group of friends that I could hang out with and feel comfortable with. I felt like I was finally going to be fine now that I had established a group of friends but halfway through my third year I transferred to a different school again having to start over
