There are many differences that we can point out between Greek Democracy and contemporary American Democracy. First, Greek Democracy was a direct democracy, in the sense that the population participated directly on assemblies for political decisions. On the other hand, in contemporary American Democracy uses a representative system, because we select people to represent us, the people.
