Quality and cost are critical factors in the continuum of care; continuum includes health promotion, disease and illness prevention; all of which helps reduce the cost in healthcare (Finkelman, 2016, p. 176).
Conclusion
Shadowing the nurse manager, who also fulfilled the role of the quality risk manager; was a very educational experience.
