There can be many meanings to this, but in this case it was emphasized when we thought about the traits that the Olympians could have when competing in sports. These traits represent the perseverance that they had to start and work hard to get to the Olympics. Now u may ask, how the heck does this all relate to AVID and well me being an AVID student especially the Olympics. Well the teamwork and support that they showed in the movie relates to our teamwork and how we push each other to do better in school and get better grades. That's pretty much the whole point of tutorials so help each other on whatever we don't get or need more work on. We also have courage to take on all the extra work that AVID brings to prepare us to for college. The courage to take on collage to take all those extra classes and the courage to not care if people think we can make it or not because it's our education not theirs. All of this relates to my personal life because my parents push me forward to do the best that I can do in school and always tell me that I do it and be something great. I also have the courage to take those honor classes and stand up to the people that think AVID is dumb and is just a bunch of extra of extra work. Well this is where I end my boring essay the point here is that the qualities I mostly noticed in this incredibly good movie cool runnings was support and courage. These traits can be found anywhere like the Olympics, school and AVID, even in each of your personal lives.
