It was bright and early in the small town of Ballina on the coast of Australia. The sky looked as if a painter had thrown blues, pinks, and purples all over a canvas. During the summer Ballina would be filled with tourists coming to see the beautiful beaches and diving near the Coral Reef’s. The streets would be filled with shoppers going from boutique to boutique with their armfulls of bags.
“Emma get your lazy butt up and ready,” screamed Lindsey, her mom.
“I'm coming.” Emma muttered.
Sleepily she looked through all her clothes, and settled with a bright green top with denim shorts and sandals. She ran down the stairs and was knocked down by her older brother George.

“Hello?” Lindsey replied. “Hello, this is the sheriff of Ballina County. I have some horrible news that I have to inform you of. Your daughter Emma Lee Ray has been found murdered near the Coral Reef path about two miles from the school. She was found when an elderly couple complained of a horrible smell near the beach, we were then called to investigate and her body was found with multiple wounds. Ma’am I am so sorry for your loss we will be at your house later tonight with more information.” Lindsey dropped to her knees and her papers flew to the ground, she could not believe anything of what was just said. He must be wrong this could not have happened to her little girl. She rushed to her feet and ran out of the office to head towards the Coral Coast, the road was long and curvy as she swerved here and there going as fast as possible. With one long leap she was out the door and running so fast that she barely felt her husband grab onto her.
