Throughout the story, we see Betsie and Corrie Ten Boom are both very involved with their faith. However, the way they practice their faith differs in various ways such as, the victims, the doubt, and the drive. Corrie prays for people who are suffering from the evil that is taking place. Betsie prays for the people who are caught up in the evil. During the bombing in chapter 5, Corrie prayed for the country, dead, injured and Queen BC she can't pray for evil. Whereas, Betsie prays for the Germans flying the plans above. Various times in the book, Corrie doubted her faith in God Unlike Betsie who always had an answer to why things where happening. During Corries dream, Corrie started to worry that it would become true. Betsie calms her down by telling her that God sometimes shows people the future to tell them that he still holds control. Lastly, Corrie had a lot more drive to continue the growth in her faith during the war. Betsie accepted that they were going to have to learn new was to practice and used the materials she was given. Betsie and I share similar views in our faith such as God being in control, God being motivation, and never questioning God. Like Betsie, I believe everything happens for a reason. Sometimes humans wonder off on our own plan and have to learn for ourselves to get back on but because of that we learn valuable lessons. Similar to Betsie, I have never given up during hard times because I always remind myself that Jesus died on the cross for us. Betsie never gave up even when she was sick in her cell. Lastly, Like me, Betsie never questions her faith. Even during the hardest times Betsie never stopped believing that God wasn't watching over them. I have never questioned my faith because I believe that questioning it can sometimes make it
