What I mean by world view is those ways of knowing that are buried in stories and symbols, which find expressions, rather consciously or unconsciously in a culture. In this one could say world views are created and formed by human interaction with natural systems or ecologies. One of the main concerns of that religion faces in communities is a way to describe a place with religious resources as being sacred. Peoples view of the world generates ethics and rituals, ways of acting, which guide us in personal, communal, and ecological exchanges. It is vital that we explore world views as they were constructed and how people live by them within communities because it is here that we discover formative attitudes regarding nature, and our own place within it.
