Once a woman finds out she is pregnant, she often goes into a thinking frenzy of the to-do's and not to-do's while being pregnant. They soon become aware of this word called teratogen. A teratogen is something that causes abnormal prenatal development. More than likely we hear this word from our physician, warning us of the drugs, diseases, and environmental hazards that may cause our child to have abnormal development.
