During the Renaissance the Catholic Church was questioned. The Church was taking money for indulgences. Martin Luther questioned the Church’s actions. This caused the rise between the reformations and the counter reformations. Socially, politically, and religiously Europe was affected.
Europe was affected by the Protestant Reformation socially because the church lost their power.
