The Courage to Grow Scholarship, is believed to be created to help students realize their college dreams. Going to college takes a lot of courage and determination even when it would be much easier to just quit and not do anything with your life. Being a recipient of the Courage to Grow Scholarship will be very essential in the help of achieving my long-term goal of becoming a middle level social studies teacher. The funds from this scholarship will be a backbone in furthering one’s education at a four-year institution . By the funding of this scholarship, one will be able to give back to communities by using the knowledge attained to teach, reiterate and educate students on the history of our world and nation. Receiving this scholarship will be essential in overcoming financial obstacles that might be faced.
