Compensations Improvement Needed Compensation and benefits of workers in the workforce is a very personal and touchy subject when you start talking about it out loud. I have witness so many different situations that have shown the company was in poor knowledge of how to treat their staff. First of all you have to be fair to all of the staff members. You can tell your employees that they should not discuss what they make until you are blue in the face but there will be a slip at some point or another and you never know how the staff will respond to knowing this information. Next, you have to comply with the laws in place regarding compensation to the staff. If your employees work overtime then you must pay your employees those wages otherwise there will be legal ramifications to deal with. The company that I had personal experience with was not doing either of these and then offering different bonus systems to the employees that also not shared amongst the staff. For this company I would recommend that they change their ways in a hurry to ensure they can keep their staff members happy and hold the staff members they do employ to avoid having a high rollover which would lead to higher training costs. When an employee is first hired they should be offered the same base pay that everyone else receives when first working with the company and there can be some variation if there is more experience needed or a higher demand for the position but for the most part to maintain a
