I have learned about your need for a student to serve as a liaison for the Society of Alumni. I am interested in this internship opportunity. Before I transferred to UMass Boston, I was studying for a marketing major in Hubei University of Technology. Currently I am a senior international finance major in UMass Boston. I believe that my background in marketing and finance are more that qualify me for the position. I would like to make a valuable and meaningful contribution to the University of Massachusetts-Boston through this position.
When I was a sophomore in my home country of China, I held an internship in TCL Company’s marketing department for 18 months. Additionally, I had worked for Archives Bureau of Xianning city for three months in my first year of university study while in China. I also participated in the Student Unions and became a minister for over two and half years.
During my previous internship, TCL Company was trying to move out the old televisions to make place for newer televisions. I have been exposed to and participated in most aspects of managing a business during this time. However, advertising and marketing were my areas of expertise while I worked as an intern.
