Blade stood over the clearing, with Grunt looking a little TOO proud standing at her side, his tiny body barely a fourth the size of hers. "Somebody out of all you worthless runts tell me NOW where the other pups are!!! Or else I will terminate you myself." Blade's voice was icy and cold and the other Fierce Dogs whimpered. Lucky stayed still, waiting to see what Blade would do next. None of Blade's Pack moved. The Alpha Fierce Dog opened her jaws and prepared to lunge at no dog in particular when Grunt spoke up. "Um, Blade?" His tiny voice squeaked. "I know where my litter-brother and sister are! I can tell you!!" Blade's ears twitched, and she snapped her head around to stare at the Fierce Dog pup. "Never less. We have the pups, Fierce Dogs! Back to camp!" Blade, Dagger and Mace each scooped up a pup and the Pack dashed off into the forest. After a couple heartbeats Lucky and Mickey stepped out of the crevice nervously. "They took the pups." Mickey said, his ears trembling. But Lucky wasn't worried. "At least they didn't take us. Now, we can get back to camp, get help, and rescue the pups!" Meanwhile, Lick and her litter-brothers were being "escorted" back to the Fierce Dog camp. Lick glared at Grunt. The huge Alpha Fierce Dog stepped out of the darkness, her fangs peeled into a vicious smile of victory. "Oh, would you like that?" Lick and Wiggle nodded; Grunt just sat quietly next to his litter mates, waiting to see what would happen next. "Too bad!" Blade snarled, thrusting her face forward and baring her fangs at the pups. Wiggle squealed and scrambled around to hide behind Lick, who took a nervous step back, her small body trembling slightly. "You pups have spent too much time with that band of rats. I mean, look at you. The male even lost his Fierce Dog nature!" Grunt gently prodded Blade's foreleg with his front paw. "Um, Alpha? My brother has always been like this. He might just have a gentle nature; at least, he had when we were born." Blade's ears pricked at this. "So, he's not even a fierce Fierce Dog?" Grunt slowly shook his head. Blade swiveled her large head to look at Wiggle. The tiny puppy lowered his head and
